Sweetness Is..

...unexpectedly getting pampered for no special reason on no special occasion.

It was just another Saturday. Days before that, Michael has been telling me that we're going to be doing something special that weekend but he didn't want to tell me what it is. Drove me crazy but I really do love surprises so I went along with it, asking casually what to bring, what to wear etc, thinking he might slipped. But he didn't.

So where did we end up?

He dropped me off at my favorite Spa place in Ubud, where he booked me for a half day treatment of a four hand massage (woohoooo!!), a body scrub, a facial and hair creambath. I was ecstatic :))

It was a total surprise because I really thought we'd be doing something together. The treatment of course, was out of this world crazy fabulous. Just what I needed after lots of days feeling blergh & nauseated.

Where did they end up?

Where he'd always wanted to go - Monkey Forest, Ubud. (thanks for THAT not being my surprise! :p)

Ayisha was very fascinated with the babies & their mummies

I would totally freak out if they do this to me...

...or this!

Dad & kid had LOADS of fun. Apparently Ayisha knew where she's going and she's been excitedly telling me 'see monkey', 'see monkey' all morning but I didn't know and thought she's looking for her 'Monty Monkey' book.

I was told she had one of the best times. When she saw me again, she's all 'mummy massage, Ha & daddy see monkey!' and she couldn't stop telling me all about the baby, the mummy, the black one, brown one, daddy throw banana, monkey touch Ha's kaki (leg) and everything about their day together.

"u really missed out, mummy..."

Thanks you two. You know I'd be just as happy to be getting a surprise where we'd be doing something together as family. But appreciate not being included to play with the monkeys!!

The funny thing about that lady with the monkey on her head, is that while she was getting mauled, having her hair pulled, stuff taken form her bag and being pee'd on, all her hubby did was take photos!!!! True love!!
