Ayisha is actually a quiet, shy little girl. It takes her a while to warm up to other people and she normally sits quietly until she's comfortable to join in. Even when she does, she's pretty tame. Not really running or jumping around. Talking? Not even a 'hi'. I guess a lot of kids would be pretty reserved too at first, especially to strangers.
People would always ask me 'is she not talking yet?' because she's all so quiet. I'd normally just answer with a simple 'yeah, just a lil bit'. I was not about to force her to talk and sing especially to people we barely knew (I do force to family all the time tho..heheh). Besides, I am glad that she's cool in public, giving a well behaved impression lah konon2. kikikiki.....
But man, the things that came out of her mouth when she's with us, I could hardly believe it. Sounds so grown up, so mak nenek like that. Makes me laugh all the time.
This morning, she was trying to grab her Monty Monkey book that was right on the bottom of her pile of books. Of course, the other books scattered all over and she goes:
'Oh my God!! Banyaknyaaaaaaa (lots) books Ha!'
I also love when she says 'Please, thank you, sorry and excuse me' without me reminding her. I hope she'll get used to saying them and continue to do so at all times. (she still needs lots of reminders!) It sounds so very cute too. (sume2 pun cute lah!)
'ops, sorry mummy! sakit?' - after she accidentally or sometimes purposely bumped into me
'mmm..yummy, thank you mummy!' - when eating her meals (and very hungry)
But then again, she also say things like, 'Look mummy look! Big BOOGER! Big BOOGER!', after picking her nose. Erk..I should stop getting so excited everytime I clean her nose.
I hope she doesn't do THAT in public tho!!!
| no lah, I'm not that chatty! |
