Ha Jewelry

Would anyone like to place an order?

She learned how to make the pasta necklace at school and when she got home, we've got a production line going.

She's loving school. She doesn't cry anymore when I drop off or pick up. Big girl. It happened very gradually tho.

First she'd cry and hang on to me till her teacher has to really pull her away. But as soon as I was out of sight, there's no more crying. After few times of that, she would still cry but she would let go of my hands and took her teacher's hand, not so much drama lah. She also has a new teacher that she loves. So that helps.

Then, not long after, she just started walking away from me, no cries. And this is all because of a very special girl, her very best friend - Freyjah. She's almost 3 but they're in the same class for 2-3 year olds. They were in the same class last year too and even from then I could see Freyjah would always look out for her, trying to make friends, hold her hands etc. But back then Ayisha was very resistant to everyone.

Now that they're both a bit older and can communicate with each other, they're having so much fun together. The teachers would tell me how they'd go everywhere together, playing a lot in the playground and in the classroom  & would just laugh & laugh.

Freyjah is just the sweetest. She waits for Ayisha every morning to take her hand and play together and after school, she would walk with Ayisha till she's safe to me and would even sometimes carry Ayisha's bag and pass it to me - just like how the teachers there do it! She's so much like a big sister and would look out for her & keep her from harm from other 'bigger' kids. I noticed this one day when I dropped her off early & followed them into the playground to play with the trampoline. There's some big kids there jumping around & Freyjah protected Ayisha and said 'careful, there's a little baby!!'. :p A few times when I came early for pick up & took a peek, I caught her sitting on Freyjah's lap. I wish I could take that girl home or that she's old enough to babysit! :p

Like today, when I dropped her off, I didn't even get to go inside. Freyjah came to greet her, Ayisha quickly let go of my hand, stood next to Freyjah and gave me this "ok mum, please leave now" look. Not even a kiss goodbye. I was the crazy woman begging for a kiss and goodbye wave. I even wanted to go inside to keep her bag (and hang around & sibuk2) but of course, Freyjah took it off me and off they went. I waited outside to see if she's ok (sticking my neck out to get her attention!) . She didn't even glance back! Sabo jek.

No, I didnt cry lah. OK, almost. But I'm ok. This is what we wanted right, for her to be happy & comfortable even without me. Really, I'm ok.

Can I have a hug now please??????
