Chilling in Kuala Lumpur

We've safely arrived in KL early morning yesterday. The flight with Ayisha was breezy, thank God! She's extra good all the way from Ngurah Rai Bali airport till we arrived at my sister's place here. PHEW!!

I wasn't sure how I'll cope after being so dependent on Michael to carry Ayisha, carry the bags, fill up the immigration forms, feed me on the plane bla bla. All I have to do when we go on any trips is pack the bags and have Ayisha buckled up with her infant seatbelt on me for take off & landing, making sure her ears are good (ie. feed feed feed).

I even packed up my carry on bag super duper efficiently with only 1 dolly allowed and purple colored crayons on board only. Squeaky was very well behaved, alhamdulillah and also thanks to Air Asia 'We Care' counter & mum with toddler signage.

Ayisha is really enjoying herself here in KL surrounded by her playful cousins. She skipped her afternoon naps and went to sleep way past her usual bedtime. She was too busy playing and having fun. She's also eating a LOT here. At first I thought she's just following whatever her cousins do. But when she actually asked for food even when her new bff (my 3 y.o nephew) wasn't eating, it made me wonder if it's actually my cooking that she wasn't really into. erk...

I love watching her having a ball with my sister's kids. I didn't really plan to do anything while in KL but just spend time with them and hopefully see my brother & his family here tomorrow as we're going back to JB on Sunday to spend time with family there.

I did invite some friends over for lunch today and it was good quality time spent with 2 good friends from high school. I love the friendship that I have with old time friends. I haven't actually been that good a friend to them or other friends here - what with me being out of the country most times and giving short notices & limited options to catch up when coming back. So I was extremely happy and grateful that they spared some time to see me & Ayisha and brought their family too.:) Thanks again guys, I really appreciate it!

My youngest sister & my mum also arrived from JB today to bring us back this weekend. Ayisha's still a bit shy with them but she's warming up. I'm sure by the end of 2 weeks in JB she'll be best buddies with Cik Limah again and copycatting Jiddah's moves all around the house.

Meantime, these are for Michael who's missing his Squeaky like crazy. We miss you too! And yes, you are right. Sorry for not taking the camera as advised because it wouldn't "fit into my perfectly organised bag". Now am regretting it as I couldn't capture perfect wonderful moments of her and you have to deal with yucky quality phone pics!! :p
